A day in a life

Its been quite a day out here

Wake at 5am after an early unplanned sleep episode

[missed my Chi Kong! :( ]

Getting up

resisting the return to warm bed

and down to comp writing down all that needs to be

Then out out

to the Garden

see the crazed Yossi attaching any kind of wooden pieces to the Godgo

(traditional Ethiopian house)

then the neighbour that asks for another picture and financial aid

and here they come

40 americanos

spreading out to hear the story

(again..)

and then work out there and create -

a new table

new raised bed from telephone poles

new irrigation system beyond

fixing mud structures

new red-blue greenhouse

Then quickly tour the grounds

clean it all up

run over to a ChiKong delivery and some tea n cake

run back fro some more talk n falafel (blaah)

then drills

then reciepts

then a 2hr meeting downtown on budget and fundraising

she's gotta be calm

focused

professional

so what if its a big jungle of madness

and now here she is

our heroine

eating gespacho in a resto downtown

working away at the keyboard

wash it down with a beer

lone cowgirl

trying to finalize as much as can be done

before she breaks

and curls up

before another day..
